hi there

here's something to get you started:

http://www.homenethelp.com %26gt;%26gt; this is a DIY website for beginners

http://www.practicallynetworked.com %26gt;%26gt; another DIY website for beginnersDo you know a site that offers free tutorial on how to setup 8 computers to share 1 internet connection?
bestbuy.com has quite a bit of info about things like that
buy a good cable/dsl router with at least 8 ports.

connect all your pc to this router.

router comes with an installer cd and a guide.

you must connect your router to a cable or dsl modem.

good luck!
Not being unkind but if you are planning to do this as a buisness I would consider looking for a good course on networking etc.

Anyway, back to the question, do not bother with the MS internet connection sharing it will only suite two computers.

For an internet cafe I would consider getting a decent (%26gt;8MB ADSL) broadband connection a good reliable router and then use a linux box to provide a firewall, access control, logging services. Put two network cards into the linux box, one connected to the router and one connected to a hub to which all the other PC's are connected.

Use DHCP to configure all the client PC's with the DHCP server running on the linux box. Also put a dns caching server on the linux box and use that as one of the dns servers for the other machines.

The next thing you need to consider beyond the network basics would be how to control people's sessions and what legislation applies regarding blocking access to, for example, racial hatred sites.
u will get it in microsoft.com
i dont know the site but u can use internet connection sharing, or winproxy.
