Basically, Singlish is English with malay, tamil and hokkien influences. And the tone is very much like Chinese. If you have been to 168 Shopping Mall in Divisoria, you would notice a similar tone from the Chinoys there.





Otherwise you can speak British English and everbody would think you're a foreigner. Try to blend in the crowd. Filipinos can easily adopt local language and dialects.

If you want to learn Singlish, which is a form of everyday language found only in Singapore, then you can listen to the Mr Brown Show (http://mrbrownshow.com/). However, this is not the kind of English you want to speak but it exists in the heartlands of Singapore.
